Skills for life

Scouting is more than just having fun: Beavers, Cubs and Scouts learn skills that are essential to their personal development and reaching their full potential. As well as developing a range of practical skills, your child will have the chance to develop skills such as teamwork, problem solving, communication and responsibility.

Peace of mind

To ensure your child is safe, Leaders adhere to our anti-bullying, equal opportunities, safety and child protection policies. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts take part in activities and learn new skills under the supervision of adult volunteers. They work effectively and safely with young people to deliver the Scout Programme and have access to training to support them in their role. If you have any questions, get in touch with your local Leader to put your mind at ease.
